The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Once a child or senior adult has been registered and accepted as an Angel, their Christmas wish list is shared through tags that can be adopted by community members. Each year, Student Council takes in hundreds of tags to help support these individuals in order to help them celebrate the holidays with joy, cheer, and hope.
Student Council also organizes an annual field trip to the Salvation Army Gift Distribution Site to volunteer in service to collect, organize, and distribute gifts to families. Photos below are from the December 2021 field trip and the Twin Valley gift donations for Angel Tree Tags.
